Ateaa Tina, one of the soothing female voices behind Daddy Lumba’s songs, tells how she met Daddy lumba for the first time on Asempa Fm ‘Tête-à-tête’ entertainment show hosted by Kweku Adu Kumi.
After stepping the threshold of the Ghanaian music industry since 2003, Ateaa Tina collaborated with Daddy Lumba to release his album like ‘Bubra’ which is comprised of songs such as ‘Pony, ‘Adaka Tea’ and ‘Dada Kae.’
She has worked with Daddy Lumba on five albums: ‘Mema Afa Wotrim Ne’, ‘Bubra’, ‘Odo Bewu’, ‘Ahenfo Kyiniye’
and ‘Give Peace a Chance.’
Talking about how she got in touch with Daddy Lumba some years ago to record with him on his projects, Ateaa Tina said after getting the information from her manager that Daddy lumba wanted to work with her, she did not believe it because Daddy lumba was one of the best artiste in the country at that time.
She continued that ,at that time she was in Holland and Daddy lumba was in Germany, so they had to make a 6-hour drive to meet the singer.
Tina told Kweku Adu Kumi that when they met, they immediately started working on Lumba’s projects and her life started changing from then.
