Lynx Entertainment signee Kidi has finally detailed the reason behind his infamous ‘I will be back’ ‘proclamation’ after he won the Afropop/Afrobeats awards at the just held Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA).
According to Kidi, he didn’t say ‘I’ll be back’ out of arrogance or pride but it was a way of encouraging himself.
“I believe in the power of the tongue. Saying “I’ll be back” wasn’t out of arrogance or pride. It was just me giving myself hope.” Kidi told Andy Dosty in an interview on Hitz FM monitored by browngh.com.
It could be recalled that after Kidi saying ‘I’ll back’ after winning EP of the year lost out the most popular song of the year and artiste of the year award to Diana Hamilton.
