The Supreme Court has ordered the petitioner, John Dramani Mahama in the ongoing Presidential Election Petition, to file his witness statements.
Supreme Court has also asked former president, John Mahama who is at the same time the petitioner to file his arguments in response to the preliminary objection raised by the respondents latest by Wednesday, January 27.
The case has been adjourned to Thursday, January 28. The court said, it will dismiss the case of the petitioner if his witness is not filed.
Ghana’s highest court, the Supreme Court has expressed dissatisfaction with the conduct of former president John Mahama and his legal team warning them it will take appropriate actions against him if they fail to comply with the order to file the witness statements and arguments by the given deadline.
